At TotalTek, we measure success not only by the results we deliver for our clients, but by the impact we create for the people around us — our employees, our communities, and the broader society we're all part of. As a nationally certified minority-owned business and a recognized Military Friendly® Employer, our commitment to people isn't a marketing message — it's a core operating principle that shapes how we hire, how we work, and how we show up beyond the walls of our business.
We believe that companies with strong values create stronger outcomes. When your team feels supported, valued, and connected to something larger than a project or a paycheck, they bring more — more creativity, more care, and more commitment to the clients who trust them. That's the culture TotalTek has been intentional about building since day one.
Our goal is not just to be profitable but to create a positive impact on those around us—neighbors, co-workers, and affiliates—by prioritizing well-being and collaboration.
TotalTek's people are its greatest asset, and we invest in them accordingly. We provide our consultants with access to ongoing training, professional development resources, and growth opportunities across our SAP, PMO, and Maritime Engineering practice areas. Whether someone is deepening their SAP S/4HANA expertise, pursuing a PMP certification, or exploring emerging capabilities in AI and intelligent automation, TotalTek creates the conditions for them to pursue excellence in their craft.
We also believe in giving our people room to bring their whole selves to work. TotalTek is a fully remote organization, which means our team members have the flexibility to structure their professional lives in ways that support both high performance and personal well-being. We stay connected through a culture of open communication, team engagement, and shared purpose — because great consulting starts with great people who genuinely love what they do.
TotalTek team members actively participate in civic and charitable activities across the communities where they live — from volunteering with local nonprofits and supporting food drives, to participating in fundraising events that benefit veterans, underserved youth, and families in need. Our annual Golf Charity Event is one example of how we bring our network together for a cause larger than business, raising funds and awareness while strengthening the relationships that matter most.
We encourage every TotalTek employee to invest time in their local community, and we support that commitment by fostering a culture where giving back is celebrated and recognized. Community engagement isn't an afterthought — it's built into who we are as an organization.
TotalTek is proud to be a designated Military Friendly® Employer — a recognition earned through demonstrated commitment to recruiting, hiring, retaining, and supporting military veterans, active reservists, and military spouses. This isn't a checkbox for us. It's a reflection of the genuine respect and gratitude we hold for those who have served.
We actively seek out veteran talent because we know what military service produces: leaders who are disciplined, adaptable, mission-driven, and deeply capable of performing under pressure. Those are exactly the qualities that make someone exceptional in the fast-moving, high-stakes world of enterprise technology consulting. Veterans bring a standard of accountability and team-first mentality that aligns perfectly with TotalTek's culture and our clients' expectations.
Approximately 5% of TotalTek's workforce is made up of veterans — a number we're proud of and actively working to grow. We offer comprehensive military leave policies, full compliance with USERRA and all applicable military employment regulations, and a workplace culture that honors the service and sacrifice of our military employees and their families.
"Both hiring and retaining our military, and supporting their families, has always been at the forefront of what we do, as displayed through the programs and offerings that we have put in place here at TotalTek." — Danielle Goodall, Director of HR

TotalTek's Annual Golf Event Drives Real Impact for Veteran Housing
TotalTek's commitment to corporate social responsibility goes beyond writing checks — it's about strategic, direct-impact giving. A recent feature in BriefGlance spotlights TotalTek's annual charity golf event at Grand Geneva Resort & Spa as a compelling model for how a technology firm can authentically align its resources with a cause that matters.
TotalTek is proud to announce it has been named one of Wisconsin's Top 10 employers supporting employees who serve in the National Guard and Reserve, receiving the Above and Beyond Award from the Department of Defense's Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) program.
The award recognizes employers who go beyond the legal requirements of the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act (USERRA), offering additional support and benefits to Guard and Reserve employees. TotalTek was nominated by employee and service member Shane Waldrop, and the honor was presented at the 2026 ESGR Annual Employer Awards Luncheon in Madison, Wisconsin, hosted by American Family Insurance and attended on TotalTek's behalf by Brad Nicolaisen.
“Improving lives means we take care of our employees so supporting our employees is what we do. Shane and every one of our Guard and Reserve service members show up for our country in ways that deserve more than words. The least we can do is make sure TotalTek is still a part of their team when they come home. This award belongs to them as much as it does to us.” ~Brock Bauer, President
This recognition reflects TotalTek's ongoing commitment to the men and women who serve — both in our workplace and in uniform.
Both hiring and retaining our military, and supporting their families, has always been at the forefront of what we do, as displayed through the programs and offerings that we have put in place here at TotalTek.
"Giving back to those who served is not just a value — it's a responsibility."

TotalTek is a minority-owned enterprise, and diversity isn't just a value we talk about — it's embedded in every aspect of how we operate, from how we recruit and hire to how we lead, develop talent, and engage with clients and partners.
We are committed to building and maintaining a workplace where every individual — regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, age, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or background — feels genuinely valued, respected, and empowered to contribute. We know from experience that diverse teams produce better thinking, more creative solutions, and deeper empathy for the clients they serve. When the people around the table represent a range of lived experiences and perspectives, the outcomes reflect it.
Our diversity and inclusion practices span the full employee lifecycle: inclusive job postings and recruitment practices, bias-aware hiring processes, equitable compensation, leadership development pathways for underrepresented employees, and a day-to-day culture where unique perspectives are not just tolerated but actively sought out and celebrated.
TotalTek is proud to be nationally re-certified by the Chicago Minority Supplier Development Council, reinforcing our standing as a trusted, certified minority business enterprise (MBE) partner for organizations that prioritize supplier diversity in their procurement decisions. For companies with supplier diversity goals, partnering with TotalTek means working with a high-performing technology and engineering firm that also helps you meet your diversity spend objectives.
