Senior Project Manager – IT PMO
This position reports to the PMO Director of the Global Operations Team and supports global infrastructure projects related to Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), networks, cloud, transformation, and demand rationalization.  Will work within Enterprise PMO governance, process, and deliverable guidelines to manage delivery of infrastructure projects. Must be financially savvy in managing project budgets. Will work with internal teams across multiple geographies and multiple technologies and will be responsible for the creation/tracking of project plans and milestones with the delivery teams, managing scope, quality, time and costs requirements.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage global network and other infrastructure projects as directed
  • Follow PMO guidelines to manage projects that includes processes and deliverables
  • Create project management deliverables such as charter, business case, scope document, project management plan, work breakdown structure, timelines, status reports tailored to specific audiences, metrics, lessons learned, etc.
  • Effectively manage issues, risks and action items
  • Manage project scope
  • Manage schedule
  • Manage detailed project budget and staffing plan
  • Create project change requests
  • Log project decisions
  • Effective management of matrixed / cross-functional resources required to deliver project
  • Organize and facilitate project planning and progress meetings, sprints, and release planning, demos and ensure compliance with project governance standards

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience as a dedicated Project Manager, managing network projects and other infrastructure projects
  • Experience using MS Project to manage project schedules
  • Strong, independent management of project budgets
  • Experience working with large PMOs, and applying PMO processes and standard deliverables to manage successful infrastructure project delivery
  • Detailed experience managing risks and issues
  • Effective working within a matrixed organization
  • “Doer” – and willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done
  • Excellent communicator within all levels of an organization
  • Experience managing projects using Waterfall and Agile methodologies
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, with excellent time management skills
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to influence and lead in driving projects to delivery
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Enthusiasm and passion about project management
  • Ability to work overlapping European and US work hours

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Adaptive Insights (a.k.a. Workday Adaptive Planning) cloud-based budgeting and forecasting software combined with reporting and analytics features.
