The SIOP Planner (Sales, Inventory & Operations Planner) will lead company cross functional SIOP process and tools for demand and supply channels to align materials, labor and technical functions to delivery customer and financial plans.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.
  • Continually improve and evolve company SIOP process within the company to improve forecasts, propose and support supply & demand adjustments with company leadership and update tools to support key business initiatives.
  • Monitors, analyzes and maintains key planning parameters including lead times and inventory replenishment strategies
  • Releases work orders as required in accordance with the Master Schedule and MRP to support the necessary supply to support customer demand
  • Perform root cause analysis and develops appropriate countermeasures for key metric misses including On-time Delivery, Schedule Compliance, Safety Stock and Master Schedule Quality
  • Lead inventory planning strategy and implementation and execution of KPIs with inventory analysts to perform to approved plans
  • Institute inventory hygiene program
  • Supports and implements the policies, procedures, systems and programs required to meet department and company objectives
  • Complete all regulatory and company training
  • Provide guidance, direction and help mentor all fellow associates
  • Performs other related duties and assignments as required
  Qualifications and Educational Requirements
  • BS or BA in Supply Chain, Operations Management or related field strongly preferred
  • Minimum 5 years proven manufacturing experience in management related to supply chain, operations, and/or logistics
  • Demonstrated experience in capacity management, supply management, inventory control/planning, production scheduling
  • Professional Certifications such as APICS, ISM etc. preferred
  • Proven ability to effectively interact with multi-functional areas (Sales, Manufacturing, Finance, Supply Chain, IT)
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office software and experience with Oracle is a plus
  • Knowledge of and/or experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TQM, and Quality Standards (ISO 9001)
  • This position requires access or potential access to Unclassified Naval Nuclear Propulsion Information, which is Not Releasable to Foreign Nationals (NOFORN) data. Therefore, to meet NOFORN requirement, you will have to provide proof of US Citizenship and attest that you do not have dual citizenship. Acceptable proof of US Citizenship is a US Passport, US Birth Certificate or Naturalization Certificate.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working within a complex Project Manufacturing environment.
  • Experience working with high transaction volumes in a complex environment
