Summary:

The Project Manager is a highly motivated, business savvy individual who successfully plans and completes automation projects. 

Responsibilities:
  • Manage all aspects of projects.
  • Close interface with Account Manager (AM). Coordinating Customer Communication
  • Oversight to manage SOW for each project. Ensuring alignment between customer URS, Quote, Budget, etc.
  • Engage Account Manager to go through a hand off for all new projects, including conceptual intentions, budget, URS, delivery, customer perspective, etc.
  • Create initial project schedule and review with OPS Leadership Team.
  • Work with each OPS Leadership position to secure resources to align with project plan needs.
  • Coordinate all project relevant meetings internal and external.
  • Interface with Integrator Partners as needed to meet project plan needs.
  • Travel as necessary
  • Coordinate all project interactions across all departments, with suppliers, Integrator Partners, Customers, etc.
  • Support OPS Leadership Team to ensure all processes are followed to ensure the best result for your project(s).
  • Manage your project(s) in a manner that aligns with the Accelerated Project Start Initiative.
  • Oversee project budget and report status on a bi-weekly basis.
  • Create as part of the project plan, a cost & cash flow projection, including projected profit at completion.
  • Maintain weekly Project Management Tools (% of Complete, Project Schedule, Project Dashboard, Master Project Schedule, etc.)
  • Engage with Database as a means to review Project Cost Sheets and verify accuracies.
  • Interact with Project Coordinator regarding Project Schedule, Travel / Field Service Planning, Long Lead Items, Procurement Planning, etc.
  • Engage with Project Coordinator to plan out the Project Milestones (invoicing) and share with Finance Mgr.
  • Coordinate all shipping arrangements with the Materials Logistics Team as well as the Finance Team for customer invoicing purposes.
  • Approve supplier invoices as needed.
  • Communicate the required support needed to the Project Coordinator for all Project Documentation (Manuals, compliance, etc.) Timing of Operations & Maintenance Manuals, etc.
  • Share Project Plan with Project Coordinator as a means to gain support for all critical Procurement interface and priorities based on the project schedules.
  • Share with the Project Coordinator to gain support for all the Project Long Lead items sourced through Procurement.
  • Share with Project Coordinator to gain support for all necessary Project Requisition(s) to align with project plans/schedules.
  • Help to develop, train and follow all Project Mgmt. QS Processes & procedures.
  • Support all department level ISO documents and overall QS (under the guidance of Sr. Leadership)
  • Learn and become a contributor to the EOS business system
  • Facilitate all initial Project Alignments at time of project start. (Customer URS, Specifications, Expectations, Quote, Budget and Project Plan)
  • Develop & Support Early/Accelerated Project Planning Process. Then facilitate the activity for all projects going through the “Early/Accelerated Project Plan Process. (Schedule, Aggressive Rating, Long Leads, Requisitioning, Resource Particulars, Partner Involvements, Strategies for Fab, Panel Build, Resource exchange, etc.)
  • Support, Train & Follow overall QS Process Flow for (with Guidance of Sr. Leadership

Required Skills and Competencies
  • At least 3-5 years in Project Management with some experience in the automation industry.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred either in a technical or business major
