Responsible for performing diversified and highly detailed station assemblies that have critical tolerances and strict inspection requirements. Travels 20% for service and installations.


  1. Reads and interprets moderate to complex assembly blueprints, specifications manuals, and assembly plans.
  2. Follows detailed station assembly prints and positions, aligns, and fastens units to the assemblies/subassemblies/frames using hand and/or power tools.
  3. Sets switches and pneumatic flow controls per station specifications.
  4. Positions, aligns, and adjust parts for proper fit and assembly.
  5. Inspects, tests, and adjusts completed units to ensure units meet specifications, tolerances, and customer order requirements.

Required Skills and Competencies

  1. High school diploma or equivalent required. Additional college coursework related to design and basic mechanical principles preferred.
  2. 3 to 5 years of high skilled experience in mechanical assembly required.
  3. Demonstrated ability to work independently with a high degree of attention to detail.
  4. Proven experience working effectively in a team environment
  5. Requires mathematical skills that require the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide, and to make metric system conversions.
  6. Must have the ability to read and understand blueprints, specification manuals, assembly plans, and other manufacturing instructions.
