Position Summary
Responsible for the development of a strategic IT roadmap and the execution of IT objectives within the company. Will have direct responsibility for leading and developing the IT organization which includes IT infrastructure, application & system administration, security, general IT operations and help desk support functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, direct, coach and develop a small team that is responsible for all aspects of IT for a growing distribution company
- Individual should be someone who likes to collaborate, lead by example and thrive in an environment where you are constantly looking to improve the status quo
- Work with the IT team, vendors, and business leaders to deliver products in a collaborative environment
- Someone who leverages data to spot problems, digs into the details and then can think and see big picture as you problem solve and look at opportunities to improve
- Develop a strategic IT roadmap and associated return on investment
- Provide leadership, development and team building for the IT team and a supportive work environment
- Previous experience managing IT infrastructure and ensuring stable environment
- Be a hands-on technology administrator that will delegate when possible and roll-up your sleeves when needed – strong service mentality
- Foster and develop strong relationships with outside IT vendors and software providers
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience
· Prior experience building and managing IT teams
· Experience in the following:
- SQL and client server applications
- Developing processes and procedures
- ERP, WMS and financial software packages
- Working in a data center environment
