Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for rigid-body and flexible-body analysis of engine components and assemblies.  Support new product design, value improvements, customer application integration, and problem-solving activities.
  • Leads and develops best practices and processes in multi-body dynamics
  • Perform rigid-body and flexible-body dynamic analyses of the engine components and assemblies.
  • Plan and direct physical experiments as required to verify analysis inputs, assumptions, or results.
  • Expedite engineering analyses through the application of computer simulation tools.
  • Determine analytical and experimental loads, methods, and acceptance criteria that best predict the dynamics of engine components, assemblies, and applications.
  • Recommend and execute the development of new simulation techniques and acquisition of new simulation tools to improve the speed and accuracy of simulation results.
  • Prepare engineering reports, give technical presentations, create and defend design recommendations. 
Qualifications:
  • Associate Degree in a related Engineering field or an equivalency in experience.
  • Minimum of five years experience in engineering-related with demonstrated high performance.
